At-Home Workouts

Limited time and resources, especially in this new era, can result in decreased activity levels for us all. Houston Ballet dancers show you some of their favorite exercises that they are doing now to keep in shape. Shake up your routine and reduce stress today with some tried-and-true moves you can do at home!

Principal Ian Casady uses a push-up routine to build and maintain upper body strength. 

Apprentice Danielle Esposito cleverly subs an exercise block for a book for an ab workout enhancer. 

Corps de Ballet member Kirsten Hunsberger adds a TheraBand to her routine for a great leg workout. 

Soloist Hayden Stark relevés his way to stronger ankles and calves. Be sure to pay attention to his demonstration of proper form.
