From October 21 – 23, the company will be in Los Angeles, CA to take part in “Celebrate Forsythe,” a program with a never-before-seen approach that salutes three works from distinguished American choreographer, William Forsythe, as part of the month-long presentation Fall for Forsythe. Tickets for “Celebrate Forsythe” can be purchased here. Take a look at a few video promos below.
Houston Ballet was personally selected by Forsythe to perform Artifact Suite at The Music Center’s Dorothy Chandler Pavilion alongside San Francisco Ballet in Forsythe’s Pas/Parts 2016 and Pacific Northwest Ballet in their Music Center debut performing Forsythe’s The Vertiginous Thrill of Exactitude.

The company premiere of Artifact Suite recently occurred in September at the Wortham Theater with rave reviews from Houston Press, Houston Chronicle, and Broadway World. As the third Forsythe piece added to Houston Ballet’s diverse repertoire, the visit to Los Angeles adds exciting momentum to a growing relationship with Mr. Forsythe’s iconic works.

Join us in sending our best wishes to all of the dancers from Houston Ballet, San Francisco Ballet, and Pacific Northwest Ballet for this stellar program celebrating our friend, William Forsythe! If you’re in the area for “Celebrate Forsythe” please use #celebrateforsythe and give Houston Ballet a shout-out!
Stay tuned for exciting new posts highlighting our World Premiere of Stanton Welch’s The Nutcracker which runs from November 25 to December 27 at the Wortham Theater!
